|Day 5||Marseille (Provence) – France France's 2nd largest city has a rich history, dating back to the Greek's in 6 BC. Le Vieux Port is the place to be, a gorgeous harbour lined with shops and cafes, the perfect spot to sample a bowl of Marseille's signature dish, bouillabaisse, fresh from the harbour.|
|Day 6||Genoa (Portofino) – Italy Genoa has many different faces; a modern metropolis and a severe custodian of artistic heritage, an industrious marketplace that also has century-old parks to relax in. Genoa hides her riches in a historical centre that looks traditionally seaward yet at the same time exhibits a new beauty achieved by restoring the splendour of ages past. Youthfulness springs from the new urban fabric that has restored works of arts and architecture.|
|Day 7||Naples (Capri/ Pompeii) The shadow of Vesuvius dominates this historic Italian city, from which you go easily access the ruins of Pompeii. If that doesn't take your fancy, you can shop till you drop in nearby Capri, or enjoy an Aperol Spritz at one of the many sophisticated bars and people watch.|
|Day 8||Messina (Taormina) – Sicily This charming cliff-top town has everything – medieval walls, beautiful churches and an abundance of restaurants showcasing all the delicious local produce|
|Day 9||Valletta – Malta Tiny Malta, smack dab in the middle of the Mediterranean and on everyone's route since ships began to ply the seas, is packed with history from top to bottom. Over time it was ruled by a variety of empires, all of which contributed to the look and culture of the islands. Valetta is living museum of baroque architecture, constructed by the Knights of St. John five centuries ago.|
