Celebrity Cruises has officially welcomed the all-new Celebrity Xcel to their revolutionary fleet, just in time for her much-awaited maiden voyage in November 2025. During a steel cutting ceremony, the award-winning cruise line subsequently revealed the name of Xcel’s upcoming sister ship and the latest evolution in the Edge Class Series, Celebrity Xcite, making new waves in the World of Cruising in 2028!
The sixth vessel in the Edge Series is set to emulate the timeless elegance and exceptional features of Celebrity Xcel, continuing the legacy of their game-changer predecessors, Celebrity Edge, Celebrity Apex, Celebrity Beyond and Celebrity Ascent – with elevated experiences and transformative innovations that will truly make her a ship of her own right.
Debuting in November, Celebrity Xcel pushes the limits of imagination with seven brand-new, state-of-the-art spaces. Some of the remarkable highlights include The Bazaar, a multi-purpose, multi-sensory venue offering immersive, destination-inspired entertainment and dining, as well as BORA, a romantic, open-air dining venue that brings authentic Mediterranean flavours to the high seas.
