Cyprus Cruises

From Coastlines to Castles

At the crossroads of Europe's culture and Asia’s tropical charm lie Cyprus, a hidden jewel brimming with pristine  beaches, ancient ruins, and medieval castles. It’s the third largest and most populous island in the Mediterranean, boasting year-round sunshine and turquoise waters! The island’s beauty goes beyond its stunning coastline, with vast mountains, rural villages and rich wine heritage, all waiting to be discovered…

Nicknamed ‘The Playground of the Gods,’ Cyprus is also deeply associated with Greek mythology, with the Petra tou Romiou rock formation (Aphrodite's Rock) near Paphos being considered as the mythical birthplace of Aphrodite. Limassol is Europe’s southernmost town and the main port city of Cyprus, where you can appreciate the simple pleasures of Mediterranean life, from clean sandy beaches and lush mountains to delicious meze and local wine!

Things to Do in Cyprus

Visit the birthplace of Aphrodite

Steeped with ancient legends and history, Paphos is an inhabited city home to some of the most iconic and storied historic landmarks in Cyprus. Paphos Archeological Park and Tomb of Kings are some of the most recognisable sites in the city, even earning UNESCO World Heritage Site titles. Paphos is also often linked with the history and legends of Greece as Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty, is believed to have emerged from the waters near the quaint city. Be sure to take a leisurely walk on the harbour for dramatic sea views and drop by the Paphos Castle, and why not visit the old town and traditional open-air market for a local experience?

Wander around Limassol

Limassol is a characterful city in the southern coast of Cyprus, complete with sun-drenched beaches, medieval castles and vibrant cultural festivals. The city is known for the centuries-old Limassol Castle, which now houses the Cyprus Medical Museum, featuring artefacts and exhibits that provide an insight into Cyprus’ rich local history. Surrounding the castle is the historic Old Town, filled with narrow alleys, colourful street art and a mix of shops, restaurants and cafes. Perched on a hillside above the Mediterranean, the nearby UNESCO-listed ancient Kourion is also worth visiting, offering a well-preserved amphitheater, picturesque villas, and sweeping ocean views!

Cross the borders of the divided capital

Take the one-of-a-kind opportunity to experience two countries in one city! Nicosia is the dynamic capital of Cyprus with the United Nations Buffer Zone, separating the Greek Cypriot and Turkey Cypriot sides. Priding itself as the world’s last divided capital, Nicosia is a melting pot of diverse Greek and Turkish cultures. Visitors can conveniently cross the borders to Turkey at various crossing points but you will need to present your passport. This buzzing metropolis is remarkably surrounded by enchanting 16th-century Venetian walls, which is a perfect jump-off point for exploring the capital.

Hit the beach

Sand and sunshine await in Cyprus! This Mediterranean island is famed for its golden beaches and sheltered coves, attracting all sun-seekers and water enthusiasts from around the world. Nissi Beach is one of the most reputable beaches in the country for vibrant nightlife, offering laid-back beach vibe by day and lively party atmosphere when the sun goes down! For a unique beach escapade, head to Lara Beach – where you can spot nesting loggerhead and green turtles whilst admiring the stunning, unspoilt coastlines! Seeking a tranquil experience? Green Bay Beach is a serene sanctuary, boasting teeming marine life and breath-taking underwater statues to explore…
