Colombia Cruises

Generally, the peak season for visiting Colombia is during the dry season, between December and March, when the skies are clear and temperatures are warm, perfect for outdoor activities! The shoulder season is from April to May if you want to avoid the large crowds and still enjoy relatively pleasant weather.

Many of the world’s mainstream cruise lines offer sailings to Columbia and South America, including Norwegian Cruise Line, Regent Seven Seas Cruises, Holland America Line and Celebrity Cruises. 

Cartagena is one of the major cruise ports for Colombia, along with Santa Marta and San Andrés.

Spanish is the most used language in Colombia, so it’ll be handy to learn a few Spanish words and phrases to be able to interact and communicate with the locals during your visit. English is widely spoken in the San Andres and Cartagena as well.

Colombia is known for its abundant biodiversity, coastal charm and rich colonial heritage. It’s also the world's leading emerald producer and the third-largest coffee exporter after Brazil and Vietnam. The UNESCO-listed city of Cartagena is among the most culturally-rich cities in the country,  whilst  Providencia and the San Andres islands are tropical hotspots for Caribbean sunshine and adventure!
