Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) reveals that Pride of America, alongside Norwegian Epic, is set to undergo refurbishments this spring, ahead of the summer 2025 cruises. Following the completion of the revitalisation project, Pride of America will launch an exciting line-up of upgrades, from new dining and drinking concepts to additional accommodations, all offering an elevated guest experience at sea!
‘Freestyle Dining’ is a highly-innovative concept pioneered by NCL, eliminating the long-standing tradition of fixed dining times and pre-assigned seating. Today, cruisers continue to enjoy a choice of restaurants, bars and cafes across the world-class NCL fleet with ultimate flexibility and freedom. And as part of the extensive refit, Pride of America is debuting a new Starbucks store within The Capital Atrium on Deck 5, further expanding the selection of dining and drinking venues for guests to indulge in.
Aiming to provide guests with an enhanced retreat at sea, the 20-year-old cruise ship will emerge from a nearly month-long drydock with 12 all-new, reimagined Club Balcony suites and three Inside Staterooms, all well-appointed with top-notch amenities and the finest touches for an even more pleasurable stay.
Designed to give guests more to do and enjoy, this cutting-edge NCL vessel is also premiering a pickleball court in the existing sports court. The Shuffles Card Room will be converted into the brand’s guest-favourite Library and Card room, where guests can read, relax and play card games. Catering to guests of all ages, the engaging kid- and teen-friendly experiences, Splash Academy and Entourage, will be relocated to Deck 6, occupying the spots previously held by S/S America Library, Internet Café and Chapel.
As the only United States flagged cruise ship, Pride of America will soon return to service with the world’s only seven-day inter-island cruise in Hawaii. This incredible, immersive itinerary gives guests an unmissable opportunity to enjoy about 100 hours of port time on an idyllic island-hopping adventure across the Aloha State!
