MSC Cruises introduces Sandy Cay as their newest ultra-exclusive island destination in the Caribbean, soon to welcome guests of both MSC Cruises and Explora Journeys in 2028 with a more secluded and dramatically evolved private island experience.
Idyllically located on the golden stretch of sands of the Bahamas, Sandy Cay is expected to emulate the exceptional sense of exclusivity and marine reserve designation of the neighbouring Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve. This slice of paradise is a separate destination, distinguishing itself as the intimate and serene alternative for Ocean Cay, with nature-focused experiences and lesser crowds compared to the larger-than-life thrills and bolder adventures of her adjacent sister island.
The name ‘Sandy Cay’ is a nod to the pristine aragonite sands embracing this private retreat, giving it a distinct stand-out character that perfectly embodies pure paradise and sun-lit serenity at every moment.
