Explora IV
Set for delivery in Summer 2027, Explora IV is the fourth of six ships in the Explora Journeys fleet, part of a rollout that will reach its full glory by 2028. At 268 metres, roughly 63 feet longer than her predecessors, she is the largest ship in the fleet yet, and by far the most breathtaking.
She welcomes 922 passengers at double occupancy, yet nothing about her feels like a traditional large cruise ship. Every inch has been designed with one goal in mind: to feel like a private yacht, not a mega-ship. For travellers, that means space and scale in abundance, without ever losing the sense of intimacy that defines true luxury.
Across her 14 decks, Explora IV offers seven restaurants and 12 bars, so every evening becomes its own discovery rather than a fixed routine. Exclusive to Explora IV are:
Meanwhile, her 461 Ocean-Front Suites, including 11 designed with accessibility in mind, ensure every guest wakes to an endless view of the sea. Simply put: no interior cabins, no compromise. Five heated pools spread the ship's energy across multiple decks, so a quiet, sunlit corner is always waiting to be found.
She will make her maiden voyage from Genoa to Lisbon on 15 April, before sailing on to Southampton and a host of dazzling European countries, including Denmark, Iceland, Germany, Spain, Italy and Sweden.
True to the fleet's roots, Explora IV embodies the very best of "Made in Italy" craftsmanship, felt in every material and finish on board. She will also be the second LNG-powered ship in the fleet, a meaningful step for holidaymakers who want their sense of luxury to align with a lighter footprint on the world we're so lucky to explore.
