The award-winning cruise line has formally welcomed the latest evolution in the Allura class fleet, Oceania Allura, during a spectacular Miami pierside christening ceremony. The new ship’s godparents are chosen in partnership with the prestigious Food & Wine Best New Chefs, serving as testament to Oceania’s legacy as the world’s leading culinary- and destination-focused cruise line.
The celebration culminated as the six Best New Chefs alumni, Tavel Bristol-Joseph, Katie Button, Calvin Eng, Aisha Ibrahim, George Mendes and Lawrence "LT" Smith, performed the iconic Champagne bottle break against the ship's hull.
Dedicated to delivering The Finest Cuisine at Sea®, the all-new Allura has emerged with 12 sophisticated culinary choices including: The Crêperie, a brand-first dessert stop offering a range of sweet treats from French crêpes to Italian ice cream; the glamorous Grand Dining Room, with over 270 new recipes and decadent decor; and the guest-favourite Jacques, combining reimagined classics with innovative flavours.
Following her maiden voyage through the Mediterranean, Oceania Allura sends guests in style to over 92 destinations for her inaugural season. Where adventure meets relaxation, this floating sanctuary features the most spacious standard staterooms at sea, spanning over 290 square feet, complete with top-of-the-line amenities and lavish bathrooms.
